We are glad to welcome you to the second BMUC (Belgian Multidisciplinary Meeting on
Urological Cancers). This initiative is again made possible by the unique cooperation between
BSMO, BAU and BVRO/ABRO. It is a natural consequence of daily practice where medical
oncologists, urologists and radiation oncologists are working together to offer best diagnostics
and treatment options to our patients.
The exciting program starts with the ‘hot topic’ of check point inhibitors, in a talk given by
Y. Loriot from Institut Gustave Roussy.
Next to that imaging in uro-oncology and the treatment of bladder cancer will be discussed.
Running national projects in uro-oncology will be briefly presented and of course the most
important ASCO-GU topics will be covered.
The meeting is an excellent opportunity to network with colleagues involved in the field of urooncology.
