Key Action 1 schools, VET and adult education

We have been informed by the European Commission that there is a technical error in the Key
Action 1 application forms for schools, VET and adult education. The European Commission have
provided the following information on the error for potential applicants:
We would like to inform you that a technical error has been detected in the calculation of
Special Needs and Exceptional Costs budget sections in the application forms for the
following actions:



KA101 School education staff mobility
KA102 VET learners and staff mobility
KA104 Adult education staff mobility
After deleting an activity from the Activity Details table, budget table Special Needs and
Exceptional Costs still contains that activity with costs associated with it in case these costs
had already been encoded for that activity. The application with the Special Needs and
Exceptional Costs related to the deleted Activity is validated and the application form can be
submitted without any warning to applicants indicating a too-high calculated budget.
You can find a step-by-step description of this error below.
Therefore, before submitting an application for KA101 School education staff mobility,
KA102 VET learners and staff mobility or KA104 Adult education staff mobility, please check
carefully if the budget table Special Needs and Exceptional Costs contain costs that are only
related to Activities encoded in the Activity Details table.

Stap 1
Er worden twee activiteiten toegevoegd en gedefinieerd in de budgetsectie ‘special needs support
and exceptional costs’
Stap 2
De indiener besluit Activity A2 te verwijderen
Het formulier verwijdert automatisch activiteit A2 uit de budget tabellen, maar niet volledig!
Alhoewel Activity A2 inderdaad verwijderd is, wordt er toch nog naar verwezen en blijft het
aangevraagde budget bestaan (dit is de technische fout!).
Let op: in het aanvraagformulier voor po/vo en volwasseneducatie hebben de onderdelen J.4 en J.5
een andere nummering en zijn het J.5 en J.6.
Ondanks deze fout, is het nog gewoon mogelijk om het aanvraagformulier te valideren en in te dienen
met inconsistente gegevens.
Om dit op te lossen moet je in het veld ‘Activity number’ (geel omcirkeld) gaan staan en voor ‘A2’
(de activiteit die je verwijderd hebt uit de ‘Activity Tabel’ ) alles verwijderen incl. het aangevraagde
budget.
