Flanders : shortage in STEM – graduates
(STEM: science – technology – engineering – mathematics)

- approx. 44 % of graduates (high school) < STEM program
- moving up to higher education:
- 58 % non-STEM (social sciences, arts, etc..)
- 27% “real” STEM (sciences, engineering, mathematics)
- 12% “care”-STEM (medicine, pharmacy, nursing, etc..)
