STEALTH with holding plate for
the HYTORC NUT
DESCRIPTION
At the fast low clearance wrench, called the STEALTH, two
pistons do the job. A small piston provides higher speed
during tightening or loosening the nut, the large piston takes
over automatically when more power is required. The
reaction pawl gives a higher effective rotational speed and
rotation through exactly the same angle on each stroke.
The housing of the drive cylinder is only as thick as the
ratchet link. As a result, the STEALTH fits in a limited free
space above the nut or on long protruding thread ends.
Another big advantage: the click-in connection between the
cylinder and the ratchet link. There are no loose pins that can
drop.
The reaction pawl gives a higher effective turning speed and
exactly equal angle rotation. When more STEALTHs are
used at the same time, you will get parallel joint closure
during the bolting process.
STEALTH changes in a precision tensioner
The LoadDISC and HYTORC NUT make a reaction arm,
reaction point and backup wrench unnecessary.
By combining the STEALTH with the LoadDISC one operator
can do inverted bolting jobs, even with multiple tools! This
multi-tool method is faster and better: flanges stay parallel,
are guaranteed leakage free and keep tightened with less
diffuse leaks.
Four independent institutes have compared conventional
torque- and tensioning systems with the LoadDISC and the
HYTORC NUT bolting methods. The results are astonishing.
The LoadDISC and HYTORC NUT give certainty in advance
and make time-consuming measurements afterwards
