In medieval times it was one of Northern Europe’s most important cities and the seat of kings and bishops. Apart from the cultural heritage Roskilde is known for hosting Roskilde Festival the largest music and culture event in Northern Europe. 4 First held in 1971, Roskilde Festival has grown steadily in popularity and size and now attracts some 100,000 people annually from all over the world who come to enjoy a diverse mix of music, arts – and camping. Roskilde BMX facts: In 2014 Roskilde BMX has been awarded “BMX Club of the year 2013” by the Danish BMX federation (DMU). Get on E20 head west 2. Merge onto E20 via the ramp to København/Dragør Follow E20 and Route 21 to Roskilde. Take exit 12-‐ Roskilde S from Route 21 3. Merge onto E20 4. There is one parking spot per team tent available on the parking area near the main entrance. Teams will receive one specific UEC pass that will allow them to have free access to the surroundings of the track. • a 6x3 spot only for UEC registered teams are €100,-‐. • a 6x3 spot only for non UEC registered teams are €200,-‐ 8 BMX Track: The Roskilde BMX Track: 8 meter high starting hill with a pro section as well as a berm jump for the elite/championship riders and 3,5 meter starting hill for the challenge riders. Entries have to be emailed by your national federation to the following address [email protected] BMX European League Round 11 (C1 Race) -‐ Friday The rounds of the 2014 BMX European league (C1 races) are open to all riders from any country in championship and challenge classes, subject they hold a national license in accordance with the UCI rules. There is no limit in the number of riders a country can register. European Championships (CC): Saturday & Sunday Only European riders can participate to the CC race (Championship and Challenge) Each country is allowed to enter a maximum number of 16 riders in Challenge categories. Host country can enter 32 riders per category. Riders registration: The registration fees are the following: Junior Classes : € 35,00 per entry Elite Classes : € 57,00 per entry Challenge classes : € 27.00 per entry The registration fees for all riders have to be paid in full to the National Cycling Federation (or organizer) which organize the event. It is NOT possible for Challenge riders to register after the deadline or on the spot. For Championship riders can only register after the deadline with the agreement of the UEC Technical Delegate and by doubling the entry fees. In view of the additional administrative expense, this fee has to be paid to the organizer at spot. This amount will then be invoiced by UEC. 12 Trophies and prize money: For both Challenge and Cruisers all 8 finalists will receive a trophy. Numbers 1 up to 3 will receive their trophy on the podium directly after the finals. Numbers 4 up to 8 can collect their trophy directly after the final near the finish line.
