Entry Fees The Hill Format Timetable of events 09.30am - each competitor will be allowed TWO attempts at the Hill during practice. From 12.00 noon. To be in keeping with the period. Body armour, if worn, should be hidden under clothing. Pre 1970 only. Replicas must be of types of machine available at the relevant period. Misrepresenting the age, origins or capacity of any machine will result in Exclusion. Suspension travel must not exceed 6.5 inches at the front and 4 inches at the rear. Members of the AMCA eligibility panel will be present and random checks will be carried out. The finalists and semi finalists in each class. The Silver Helmet plus a replica for the fastest time of the day. The Len Vale-Onslow Challenge Trophy to the winner of the All-comers final and there will be an award for the best performance by a rider of an AJS or Matchless machine. NEB Engineering will give cash awards for the fastest time by a rider aged 55 or over, for the fastest time of the day regardless of age and to the fastest lady rider providing 3 or more entries are received. Cameron Engineering will give awards to riders of JAP engined machines in the Allcomers class, £150 for reaching the semi finals and £350 for reaching the final. Nametab Engineering will give a cash award for the fastest two stroke. There will be no machine examination as it is the riders own responsibility to ensure that his machine complies with the regulations and is safe and fit to use in this event. AMCA licence holders £25.00. Non licence holders £30.00 This will include a day licence. Licences to be shown at Signing on if requested. Cheques payable to RMHCC CLOSING DATE FOR ENTRIES - SUNDAY MARCH 1st OR WHEN FULL NO LATE ENTRIES WILL BE ACCEPTED The Hill is of undulating grassland, 440 yards long, the start being flat then rising to 1 in 2 for the last 70 yards. Riders will compete four at a time from a standing start. First and second will proceed to the next round. All runs will be timed. In the event of no two riders reaching the finish, the two reaching furthest up the hill will go through. Class 1 – Super Class (Riders Know who they are) Class 2 - Pre 1970 - up to 350cc. Class 3 - Pre 1970 - over 350cc Class 4 - All-comers - unlimited cc. Classes Riders need only enter one class and will automatically be entered in the All-comers event. NOTE: The Pre 1950’s class has been dropped, however riders can still enter in there applicable class (Class 2 or Class 3). Riders in Super class WILL NOT be allowed to enter in Class 2 or 3 only All Comers. Protests Must be made in writing to the Clerk of the Course and to the Secretary of the meeting. Riders under 18 Only entries from riders with full AMCA Classic Licences will be accepted. Passes Every competitor will be issued with a vehicle pass, a rider pass and a mechanic pass. Other occupants of any vehicle will be charged admission - Adults £7.00,no charge for children under 10. The vehicle pass must be displayed when entering the paddock. Vehicles not displaying a pass will not be allowed in. Camping Camping will be available to all competitors in the paddock area for which no charge will be made. Non-riding Campers must pay a £10.00 Camping fee and pay £7.00 admission for each passenger and must park where directed by the marshals. The Paddock gates will be locked at 10.00pm on Sunday night and no vehicles will be allowed into the Paddock area after this time. Insurance Personal Accident Insurance will only cover capital benefits 1. Accidental Death £5000 2. Permanent loss of eye or eyes £5000 3. Loss of limbs £5000 4. Permanent total disablement £5000 A lump sum Hospital Benefit will be paid to any competitor confined to hospital for a period of 4 weeks or more as a direct result of injury following an accident in an AMCA authorised event.
