Veltman Marine Service is 24 uur per dag, 365 dagen per
jaar op oproepbasis bereikbaar en inzetbaar voor bedrijven,
overheden en particulieren.

With an experienced staff team, who’s knowledge of the area
is second to none, Velman Marine Services use a number of
fast and multifunctional vessels to get the job done. Especially
built for the conditions of the shallow Wadden Sea area and
North Sea coastal area, Veltman Marine Services is always
on standby: 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year
for businesses, governmental or private organisations

A dedicated team
Since 1988, Veltman Marine Services has been operating
from our home base on the island of Ameland in the waters
surrounding the Wadden Islands. Our dedicated team of staff
are well experienced and we have actively built a reputation
as the best service provider in the region. To sustain
this reputation, we continually invest in our people and in
our fleet and our knowledge of the regions waters – the
fairways, the shallowness’s and the sandbanks – is second
to none. No place is out-of-reach for us, also the tidal inlets
towards the Wadden Sea, and North Sea coastal area are
easily accessible to our boats
Quality assurance
Veltman Marine Services operates in accordance with the
ISO 9001:2008 standard and our quality management
system has been approved by the Lloyd’s Register of
Quality Assurance. In addition, and although it is not
required by law, we have also applied the ISM (International
Safety Management) code to our QHSE system. Safety is
paramount to us including crew, passengers, goods and fleet.
We also consider the environment of utmost importance and
are supporters of the Wadden Sea area as a Unesco World
Heritage site.
Mensen
Veltman Marine Service werkt met bemanningsleden die
langjarig kennis en ervaring hebben opgebouwd in dit
bijzondere vaargebied. Ons bedrijf is sinds 1988 actief
vanaf Ameland en we bouwen al vanaf onze start actief
aan een reputatie als de beste dienstverlener in ons vaken werkgebied. Om die in stand te houden investeren we
voortdurend in mensen en schepen.
We kennen het Wad, de geulen, de ondiepten en de platen:
we komen er op de moeilijkst bereikbare plekken.
We werken regelmatig in de zeegaten en in het Noordzee
kustgebied boven de Waddeneilanden.
Kwaliteitsbeleid
Veltman Marine Service werkt volgens de ISO 9001:2008
standaard, en is hiervoor door Lloyd’s Register Quality
Assurance gecertificeerd. Hoewel niet verplicht, is de ISM
(International Safety Management) code wel toegepast
in ons QHSE systeem. We werken dus geborgd veilig
voor bemanning, passagiers, goederen, en schepen.Met
aantoonbaar veel aandacht voor het milieu rond onze
thuishaven: het Unesco Wereld Erfgoed Waddengebied.
