～さらに多様化するお客様のご要望に、あらゆる角度からお応えするホテルへ～
フォートレス・インベストメント・グループＬＬＣ（以下、その関連会社と総称して、「フォートレス」）とオリックスが
出資する特定目的会社が保有するシェラトン・グランデ・トーキョーベイ・ホテル（浦安市舞浜、総支配人長田
明）は、“ANNEX 棟プロジェクト”を 2017 年 2 月の完成を目指し開始する予定となりましたので、お知らせいた
します。
このプロジェクト実施により、新たな客室棟となる ANNEX 棟（175 室）を増築し、当ホテルは舞浜エリアで初と
なる客室数 1,000 室規模の超大型ホテルへと進化します。
今回の ANNEX 棟の増築は、当ホテルが 2018 年に開業 30 周年を迎えるにあたり、中期的に推進している大
規模改装計画の一環です。東京ディズニーリゾート®への来園者は年々増加し、海外からのお客様も飛躍的
な増加傾向が続くことが予測されます。また、国内のお客様の旅行形態も、親子三世代旅行、ご夫婦の熟年
旅行、女性同士の旅行、そして健康・リハビリのためのホテル滞在など様々に変化してきています。その変化
に先駆け、都心近くのホテルとしてすべてのお客様にご満足いただける“おもてなし”を提供することが、私た
ちの目指すところであります。
ANNEX 棟は、ホテル全体のコンセプトである“オーシャンクルーズ”の気分をより一層感じていただけるインテ
リアを展開します。ホテル本館から「船旅」は続き、ANNEX 棟は航海の寄港地であるかのように明るく開放的
で、わくわくする旅の雰囲気を演出します。
また、既存客室の改装プロジェクトも 2014 年秋より実施しており、新たに“ホテルの中の旅館”をコンセプトに
“ジャパニーズスイート”（和洋室、計 9 室）を本年 4 月にオープンしました。さらに“オーシャンドリームルーム”
“シェラトンクラブルーム”の改装を本年７月に完了し、計 841 室のホテルとなります。

Evolving into first hotel with over 1,000 rooms
in Maihama area in February 2017
- Meeting diversifying needs of guests from all aspects Fortress Investment Group LLC (hereinafter refer to as “Fortress”), a company established to invest for
a certain purpose with Orix, announces its plan to launch Sheraton Grande Tokyo Bay Hotel
(Maihama, Urayasu-shi, General Manager: Akira Osada) the ANNEX project aiming for completion in
February 2017. Under this project, the new ANNEX guestroom wing (175 rooms) will be constructed,
which will make the hotel the first super-large hotel with 1,000 rooms in Maihama area.
This ANNEX project is a part of our mid-term major refurbishment program towards celebration of the
30th anniversary of the launch of the hotel in 2018. While more and more people visit Tokyo Disney
Resort® every year, we expect that the number of guests from overseas will also continue increasing
significantly. In the meantime, travel styles of domestic tourists are diversifying, including
three-generation trips, elderly couple travels, girls-only trips, and hotel stay for wellness and
rehabilitation. To provide for these changes, we, as a hotel located nearby the Tokyo metropolitan area,
aim to deliver “omotenashi” that satisfies every guest.
The interior design of the ANNEX building will feature “Ocean Cruise,” a general concept of the hotel.
Guests will continue their “voyage” from the main building to the ANNEX, where they will experience a
cheerful, open and exciting atmosphere like a port of call.
We also have an ongoing project for refurbishing existing guestrooms since fall 2014. With the new
concept of “ryokan (Japan-style inn) within hotel,” we opened Japanese Suites (9 Japan- and
western-style rooms) in April 2015. In addition, Ocean Dream Rooms and Sheraton Club Rooms are
under renovation. When it completes in July, we will have a total of 841 guestrooms.
