Reflecting the international atmosphere of the city of Kobe, we continue to develop international links with universities worldwide in a range of subjects. We have around 17,000 students at undergraduate and post graduate level in our 11 faculties and 14 graduate schools. The number of international students on campus is around 1,100 as of May, 2014. Kobe University International Student Center was established in April, 1993 as a university wide research/teaching facility, with the aims of carrying out activities related to the teaching of Japanese language and culture, student advising, the promotion of student exchange and research into education for international students. This‘Summer Program in Japanese Language and Culture’is ３ weeks in duration, aimed at students who are studying Japanese at overseas universities with which we have academic agreements. There is a homestay program during the course to facilitate students in experiencing Japanese life first hand. 期 間 2015 年７月 21 日（火）～８月５日（水） Duration Tuesday, July 21st, 2015 ～ Wednesday, August ５th, 2015 定 員 40 名 Number of Participants 40 students 対 象 神戸大学と学術交流協定を締結している海外の大学の学部学生で、日本語能力試験 N1 ～ N3 レベルに相当する日本語の運用能力をもつ者 Eligible Students Those students who have competence in Japanese between JLPT Levels N1 ～ N3 and are undergraduate students at a university that has an academic exchange agreement with Kobe University プログラム内容 日本語および日本文化に関する授業と課外活動 □ 日本語（中上級レベル） □ 日本語演習（※） □ 日本文化講義 □ 日本文化体験 □ 日本文化見学旅行 □ 神戸大学の学生との交流 □ ホームステイ ※日 本語演習では神戸大学の学生をまじえて日本語でディスカッションを行い、日本語の 運用能力を高めます。 Program Classes in Japanese language and culture including group work and extracurricular activities. □ Japanese language (upper intermediate level) □ Applied Japanese ( ※ ) □ Lectures on Japanese culture □ Experiencing Japanese culture □ Excursion to cultural sites in Japan □ Exchange activities with Kobe University students □ Homestay ※ Applied Japanese: you will increase your ability in using Japanese language by participating in discussions with students from Kobe University. 参加費用 プログラムに関わる授業料、教材費、宿泊費（一部）は神戸大学が負担します。 往復の渡航費、滞在費（食費、宿泊費の一部、交通費等）、海外旅行保険（疾病・傷害・賠償責任） の加入費は参加者負担となります。 Fees Kobe University will bear the costs related to class tuition fees, materials and partial accommodation fee.
