Senior Solution Architect (m/f)

We are looking for a Senior Solution Architect (m/f) for our offices in Zurich or Basel to further strengthen our
project delivery capabilities for our clients in German-speaking Switzerland.
Position Summary
As Senior Solution Architect, you will be the primary contact for the overall solution during the presales cycle or
on a project. You will be responsible for the architecture and design of the target solution application as well as
for all the non-functional aspects of the solution, including task estimation and quality assurance of the related
deliverables.
Your Responsibilities




Mentor the project team by providing technical assistance and direction to the project team regarding
specifications, design issues, development guidelines and testing
You will also participate in the definition and delivery of project deliverables according to the project plan
You will mentor and coach more junior architects in the organization. You will be responsible to define
and maintain architecture best practices, methodologies and training/certification curriculums.
You will support our marketing efforts by participating in events, by writing articles for our blogs and
magazines as well as white papers.
Your Skills and Experiences
 High customer orientation and ability to understand customer’s needs, consulting mindset
 At least 10 years as architect in a consulting role
 Knowledge of several of the following technologies and topics
o Java/JEE/Java based middleware, specifically on products from Red Hat and Oracle
o Microsoft .Net/SharePoint/BI
o Sitecore
o IAM and Security
 Experience in large projects covering several of the above mentioned technologies
 Thorough experience with proposal writing and pre-sales
 Experience with systems of engagement and enterprise integration
 Team player with good interpersonal skills
 Leadership and coaching capabilities
 Independent, goal-oriented and structured working style
 Availability to travel
 Architect certification is a plus
 Experience and exposure to enterprise architecture a plus B.Sc. in Computer Science, Software
Engineering or related field
 Very good communication skills in German and English
