Carissimi e carissime e-bikers!
In Europa entwickeln Regionen immer mehr spezifische Profile
oder heben ihre Besonderheiten gezielt hervor. Zweck ist es, sich
von den Mitbewerbern im nationalen und internationalen Standortwettbewerb abzuheben, um im Bereich der Wirtschaft und
speziell im Tourismus als Markt bzw. als Destination an Attraktivität zu gewinnen. Auch das Land Südtirol verfolgt eine solche
Strategie, indem wir uns als „grüne Region“ positionieren.
Le regioni d’Europa stanno sviluppando profili sempre più specifici, puntando con decisione su ciò che le caratterizza. Lo scopo è
diventare sempre più attraenti e distinguersi soprattutto dalle altre
località che, a livello nazionale ed internazionale, si propongono
come destinazioni turistiche. Anche l’Alto Adige segue questa
strategia e si propone come “regione verde”.
Diese Positionierung gründet auf der Tatsache, dass unser Land
eine Vorreiterrolle in den Bereichen der erneuerbaren Energien
und der Energieeffizienz einnimmt und es in Südtirol in allen Bereichen eine hohe Sensibilität für einen achtsamen und sparsamen
Umgang mit natürlichen Ressourcen gibt. Ausdruck findet das in
einer Vielzahl an Unternehmen, Projekten, Initiativen und Events
quer durch alle Sparten.
Wenn heuer zum zweiten Mal die EWC – E-Bike World Cham
pionships in den Dolomiten stattfinden, dann ist das ein Event,
der für Südtirol praktisch maßgeschneidert ist. Zum einen ist
Südtirol mittlerweile zu einer beliebten Rad-Destination avanciert,
zum anderen passt die Elektromobilität sehr gut zu unserer Positionierung als „grüne Region“.
Deshalb danke ich dem Verein eBike Dolomiti nicht nur für die
Organisation dieser innovativen Sportveranstaltung, sondern vor
allem auch für den Beitrag im Sinne der strategischen Ausrichtung unseres Landes.
Allen E-Bikerinnen und E-Bikern wünsche ich ein erfolgreiches
Rennen und insbesondere jene, die von außerhalb der Landesgrenzen angereist sind, schöne Tage in unserer einzigartigen Freiluftarena.
La definizione dell’Alto Adige come „green region“ poggia su alcuni dati di fatto: la nostra provincia precorre i tempi nei settori
delle energie rinnovabili e dell’efficienza energetica; c’è inoltre una
grande sensibilità riguardo all’ utilizzo delle risorse naturali, che è
sempre attento e parsimonioso. Tutto questo si riflette in modo
trasversale in un gran numero di aziende, progetti, iniziative ed
eventi connessi con questa tematica.
Il EWC – E-Bike World Championships, che si svolge per la seconda, è un evento che pare tagliato su misura per l’Alto Adige:
da una parte il Sudtirolo è una meta amata dai ciclisti, dall’altra
il concetto della mobilità elettrica si adatta perfettamente alla nostra vocazione di “regione verde”.
Per questo ringrazio l’associazione eBike Dolomiti non solo per
l’organizzazione di questa manifestazione sportiva davvero innovativa, ma anche e soprattutto per il suo contributo al posizionamento strategico della nostra provincia.
A tutte e tutti gli e-bikers auguro una gara di successo e, a coloro
che vengono da fuori provincia, buona permanenza nella nostra
eccezionale “arena all’aria aperta”.

2015! Auf ein Neues!
2015! Si ricomincia!
Für heuer haben wir uns wieder ganz stark ins Zeug gelegt –
und das sofort nach der Ausgabe 2014. Voll Enthusiasmus und
Euphorie von der gelungenen Veranstaltung! Auf der Eurobike
2014 hatten wir auch jede Menge positive Rückmeldungen: die
meisten hatten schon von uns gehört. Und wenn nicht, dann
waren sie von der Initiative begeistert. Im Oktober bekamen wir
einige wenige Rückmeldungen darüber, dass es für eine Marketingplanung noch zu früh sei. Im Frühling 2015 dann: die neuen
Bikes sind noch nicht raus oder schon vergriffen… Folglich war
es gar nicht so einfach, ein bunt gefächertes Angebot auf die
Beine zu stellen, das Vergleiche zulässt. Dennoch haben wir es
wieder geschafft!
Approfittando dell’entusiasmo e dell’euforia che l’ultima edizione
ci ha regalato, ci siamo messi subito all’opera per preparare la
gara di quest’anno, e ciò immediatamente al termine dell’edizione 2014. All’Eurobike 2014 abbiamo ricevuto tanti feedback
positivi. Moltissima gente aveva già sentito parlare di noi, chi non
ci conosceva è rimasto comunque entusiasta dell’iniziativa. In
ottobre ci è stato suggerito poi, che i tempi per la progettazione
del marketing fossero prematuri. Poi in primavera 2015 la sorpresa: le nuove bikes non erano ancora sul mercato oppure erano già esaurite….Di conseguenza non è stato semplice mettere
in piedi un’offerta varia che potesse reggere il confronto. Però ci
siamo riusciti anche per quest’anno!
Besonders freuen wir uns wieder auf die Hersteller vom Vorjahr,
die uns wieder treu die Stange halten – haben sie ja verstanden,
dass es hier nicht (nur) ums Gewinnen und die Sichtbarkeit in
den Medien geht, sondern auch – und das sogar in erster Linie
– darum, die Bikes unter reellen, harten Bedingungen zu testen.
Und zwar von jenen, die ihnen dann auch wertvolles Feedback
geben können: den Athleten. An dieser Stelle auch ihnen ein
ganz herzliches Dankeschön. Und ein herzliches Willkommen an
die „Neuen“: auf dass die EWC ihren Erwartungen entspricht!
Soprattutto ci fa piacere rivedere coloro che ci hanno aiutato
l’anno passato – avete capito che qui non si tratta solo di vittorie
e ritorno mediatico, bensì anche – e ciò addirittura in primis – di
testare le bikes in condizioni dure e reali. E questo da parte di chi
è in grado di fornire un feedback di valore: gli atleti. Un caloroso
GRAZIE in occasione a questi atleti. Pertanto in questa sede vorremmo salutare di cuore i “nuovi” partecipanti: che l’EWC possa
essere all’altezza delle loro aspettative!
Aus den Medien lesen/hören wir immer wieder, dass E-Bikes, vor
allem MTBs oder Fatbikes absolut im Trend liegen, d.h. auf dem
Vormarsch sind. Das bedeutet für uns, dass wir auf dem richtigen Weg sind und dass über kurz oder lang die Kaufentscheidung eines E-Bikes AUCH von „unseren“ Ergebnissen abhängt.
Somit wünschen wir uns und euch allen eine erfolgreiche Veranstaltung mit Super-Ergebnissen!

Regulation WPC 2015
Participation at WPC is at your own risk. The Organizing Committee assumes no liability.
The minimum age for participation is 16 years.
Each athlete must possess a sports medical certificate in order to show this at startup.
Starting order and race number allocation will be made according to individual results.
On each time there can be made technical inspections.
Helmets for safety must be worn for the entire duration of the race.
Slower bikers are obliged to give right of way to the faster bikers.
Throwing away of waste outside the designed areas and containers at the feed zone leads to disqualification.
Protests must be submitted in writing to the Jury within 15 minutes after the race, with a protest fee of 50 €.
Participants, who are not able to reach the required deadlines, will be stopped for safety reasons.
The general UCI, FCI and FIM rules for competitions have to be observed at all times.
The timing of the race is controlled and the net time (real time) will be measured.
Should the race be cancelled owing to unforeseen circumstances out of the control of the race organizers,
the registration fee is not refundable.
The organizers reserve the right to alter and adapt the race course as well as participatory regulations without prior notice.
