This three day event is intended to provide each attendee with in-depth, real world
instructions on using the ARMS Information Management System. New users to
senior staff will benefit from this conference. Topics include: ARMS Web Portal,
ARMS Mobile, ARMS Mapping, Interoperability and Data shares and much more.
Get hands on assistance from the End2End staff as well as opportunities to network
with other ARMS users.
The DoubleTree by Hilton is anchored in Downtown Nashville, the heart of “Music
City U.S.A.”! Our location puts us only blocks from numerous restaurants,
entertainment venues, and many attractions such as:

Sessions
What has Changed Since 2014 - This session we will review the requests from the
2014 conference and discuss major changes in the application.
ARMS Basic Training – These sessions will cover topics for new users to ARMS. We
will cover the best practices for CAD, Case Management, Names, Businesses, Vehicles
and more.
ARMS System Administration – This session will review Advanced System
Administration. Topics include: ARMS Client Connections trouble shooting, Client
Installs, Code Maintenance, Printing/ testing printers and others.
ARMS Mobile – Going Mobile, Mobile CAD, Mobile Report Writer and Mobile
Devices – This session will introduce the new Mobile modules and mobile ‘Apps’.
Learn the benefits and be better able to plan for your future. Remember, Mobile is not
just for laptops mounted in a patrol car (even though we will display some very robust
setups!). Mobile can work without a major hardware investment. We will demonstrate
mobile using “the big box store” purchased equipment.
ARMS Portal – This session will review the way to communicate to the public via the
portal and social media.
ARMS Parking – This session will explore the ARMS Parking application. We will
review the best practices and case studies of how ARMS Parking can enhance your
campus parking management. We will review Permit inventories and Permit points of
sale, Citation billing and collections, interfaces with accounting applications, web
registration, online appeals and other topics. Additionally, we will review the latest
handheld technologies and allow the user to test the Trimble Juno units. We will
discuss how blue tooth technology has enhanced the Handheld synchronization. All
areas of Parking Management will be explored.
Archiving/Data Warehouses – Best Practices will be reviewed for data archiving and
warehousing. User will review the new archive and delete features in ARMS. How
much data should you keep online? Does all the data have to reside in one database?
These and other questions will be answered and explored.
Tech Talk and Round Table Discussions - Always the “hit of the show”. All attendees
will be allowed to submit their questions about ARMS to the development team. These
sessions are always lively, informative and entertaining.
Affective and Effective Reporting - Clery – VAWA – Title IX Reporting – NIBRS –
UCR and Public Reports. Learn and discuss the latest ARMS reporting features.
