President’s Comments January 2015
by Cortney VanOeffelen
Last month’s, “Top Management Recognition Night”, was a huge success with about 80 in attendance. We had a very
diverse group, including not only the top managers and owners, but there were more women than normal in
attendance and many new faces, which we love.
Don Huizenga, our guest speaker and an icon to the industry, delivered a great presentation for us. Thanks again to
those of you who were able to attend.
January’s meeting is our “Past President’s Recognition Night”, with guest speaker, Chris Norch. You will not want to
miss this!! Please RSVP to Dan Arends at [email protected] by Noon on Friday, January 9th, 2015.
I would like to wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
Also, please visit the AFS Website at: http://www.westmichiganafs.com

AFS Meeting Sponsorships
Did you know you can help sponsor an AFS Chapter Meeting for as little as $100? Companies are recognized in the
meeting announcement and at the chapter meeting and are also asked to give a brief synopsis of what their company
does at the meeting. Many find this a great opportunity to tell a little bit about their organization and support the
chapter at the same time. If you are interested in sponsoring one of our meetings, please contact Dan Arends at
[email protected]. Sponsorships will be designated on a first-come, first-serve basis.
