GENERAL INFORMATION
CLASS DESCRIPTIONS
For your safety and as a courtesy to other
members, please do not enter a class if you are
more than 10 minutes late (i.e., 10 minutes after
class has begun). Please bring water and a towel
to all classes.
Water group exercise classes are a wonderful
alternative to “land” exercises. With water
exercise, there is less impact on your joints,
but you still receive the same cardiovascular
workout. All lap levels and non-swimmers are
welcome, except for Masters Swim Team.
Recommended items – aqua shoes, waterproof
sunscreen, sunglasses, visor, plastic water
bottle, rash guard/aqua jacket.

and flexibility while using aqua fitness equipment.
Aqua Aerobics A moderate to vigorous
workout including cardio, strength and flexibility
exercises.
Aqua Fit Adults looking to challenge themselves
without stress on their joints or members who
just enjoy the water can take advantage of Aqua
Fit. Gain muscle conditioning and cardiovascular
endurance from the aerobic choreography and
the resistance of the water.

aquatic exercise integrates the popularity and
benefits of Zumba with traditional aquatic
fitness disciplines.
Arthritis Aquatics Gentle aqua class for
arthritis sufferers.
Masters Swim Enjoy a coached workout with
our adult swim team. Our coaches will help
you meet your swimming goals. Masters is a
year-round team that meets four times weekly.
Participants must be able to swim 500 yards
continuously.
