No.-09/2014-15 of JDA Amount put to tender : Rs.7,49,228.00 Tender Amount : Rs.6,89,290.00 Rate offered by the agency : 8.0% (Eight percent) less With reference to above, he is hereby informed that his quoted bid @ 8.0 % less than the ‘amount put to tender’ has been accepted by the undersigned & he is therefore awarded the contract for execution of the said work. In this connection, he is asked to collect the AGREEMENT FORMAT from JDA Office by 13-01-2015 & sign the same in the prescribed manner in order to make himself eligible for the execution of the said work. This is again mentioned that the time for completion of the said work is 15 (fifteen) Days only. Any extension of the period of execution of the work (except on grounds explicitly mentioned in the Tender Notice) shall be viewed as breach of contract by him. All terms & conditions mentioned in the Tender Document have to be followed both in letter & in spirit. He is further asked to contact the Engineering Section, JDA & get the schedule of the work by 13-01-2015 and commence the work immediately in consultation with Sub-Assistant Engineer, JDA. The undersigned reserves the right of cancelling this award following any breach from the clause(s) of the tender. Contd. to page-(2) (2) As regards of the execution of the above work following instructions shall be followed invariably1) After obtaining the work order, the contractor is to obtain a License for this Particular work from the Assistant Labour Commissioner, Birpara under the Contract Labour (Regulation & Abolition) Act, 1970 and to submit the same to the office of the undersigned. Without obtaining and submitting the said license, no bill will be released to the contractor. 2) Before commencement of the Work, the contractor will erect a signboard made up with thick angle framed plain G.I. sheet (measuring 3.0 ft. x 2.5 ft.) welded with 02 Nos. of 16 mm dia. Rod (at contractor’s own cost) on which it will be written clearly the following particulars- i) Scheme undertaken by- Jaigaon Development Authority (In Bold letters with red ink) ii) Name of the Work, iii) Estimated Cost, & iv) Year of execution. 3) Security Deposit (SD) to be deducted from the contractor’s bill will be released after two years (24 months) to be counted from the date of completion of work after properly maintaining the work by the contractor failing which SD may be forfeited. 4) Three photographs [to be taken in three different phase of the work i.e. i) before the commencement of the work, ii) during execution of the work and iii) after completion of the work] of the schemes shall be submitted to the Engineering Section of JDA and one photograph of completed scheme must contain the image of the above signboard. 5) All the terms and conditions of the tender documents/form and contracts shall be obeyed by the contractor strictly. This letter may be treated as FORMAL WORK-ORDER and the date of commencement of the work shall be reckoned from the date of issue of this letter.
