Imphal, the 29th December, 2014
No.HL-259/C&I/2013: On the In pursuance of the Government letter No.51/23/2011-C&I
dated 24-12-2014, applications in prescribed are invited for engagement of Cluster
Development Executive (CDE) in the implementation of 51 Nos. of Cluster Development
Projects under North Eastern Region Textile Promotion Scheme (NERTPS) in all the district
of Manipur.
1.
Qualification: Degree/Diploma in Handloom/Textile/Weaving Technology or Textile
related Degree/Diploma, preferably from Indian Institute of Handloom Technology
(IIHT)/State Govt. Polytechnic/ITI etc. or B Sc in Textile Clothing with a field experience of
at least 2 years in Textile Unit/Cluster etc.
2.
Honorarium: Rs. 15,000/- p.m. per CDE per cluster. If clusters are adjoining, then
one CDE will look after 2-3 clusters (funded 100% by GOI)
3.
Mode of selection: Preliminary selection will be done by the Cluster Development
Coordination Group constituted at the district level with the Project Manager/OSD
(Handloom) as the chairman with WSC & NABARD as members.

Details of district-wise requirement, duties of CDEs and application form may be had
from the Office of the Project Manager/OSD(Handloom) in the District Handlooms &
Textiles Offices, attached with the DICs. Application may also be downloaded from
www.dcimanipur.gov.in
5.
Last date for submission of application is 15-01-2015. Date of interview will be
notified by the respective district in due course.
