We also continue to work in partnership on a number of projects including Thunder Bay’s commemoration of the centennial of the First World War, having recently opened a new exhibit entitled The Impact of War on Sport during Doors Open. We were pleased to help out the 55+ Centre with their Olympic themed volunteer recognition night. Confederation College students and local producers continue to Northwestern Ontario use the Hall of Fame for projects and it was great to see The Dozen, a film produced by Sports Hall of Fame Kirsten and Chris Kosloski, which included a segment filmed at the Hall of Fame, be screened at the Bay Street Film Festival. Another of our partnership projects, the 2014/2015 publication A Century of Sport in the Finnish Community of Thunder Bay, earned some Board of Directors great recognition by wining an ISHY Communication Award from the International Sports Dave Siciliano Heritage Association and was also voted Best in Show by the delegates attending the President group’s conference in Nashville. Congratulations to our newest Inductees and thank you to our staff and volunteers who worked so hard to make the evening a truly first class event.
