Lee Redfern ~This and That~ WEDNESDAY NIGHT PRAYER MEETING The prayer meeting that was held from 6:40-6:55 p.m. on Wednesday nights has been canceled until further notice. SANCTITY OF HUMAN LIFE DAY Today is the National Sanctity of Human Life Day. This is an observance declared by several U.S. Presidents who opposed abortion. President Ronald Reagan designated January 22, 1984 as the first National Sanctity of Human Life Day. This was to coincide with the 11th anniversary of Roe v. Wade Supreme Court case. OUTREACH TEAM MEETINGS There is an Outreach Team meeting today following the morning worship service Starting in February the Outreach team will meet the first and third Sunday of every month following the morning service. See Ed Applegate if you have any questions. YOUR HELP IS NEEDED Eternity Baptist Church will be collecting gently worn used shoes for Royal Family Kids’ Camp. The shoes can be any size and any style. All shoes donated will go to an organization which will distribute them to 13 different countries. The money received for the shoes will send 70 plus children in foster care to a week of camp – Royal Family Kid’s Camp. Call Terry or Terri Crompton at 322-1543 if you have questions.
