NOTICE INVITING TENDER FOR WORKS (TWO COVER SYSTEM)
1. Tender documents are uploaded in nlc website www.nlcindia.com.
For further details please contact GM/ES&C/CTO, NLCLtd., Neyveli –

2. Approved firms for LTE can download the documents from the NLC
website www.nlcindia.com under the head “Limited tenders”.
Documents can also be obtained by approved firms from the O/o The
GM/ES&C/CTO, NLC Ltd., free of cost.
3. NIT will be sent through post/email to the approved firms who are
eligible to bid.
4. Bids submitted by the approved firms only will be considered for
evaluation. Other bids received will be treated as unsolicited bids
and will not be considered for evaluation.
5. Bids will be received by the Office of the General Manager/Electrical
Services and Communication, NEYVELI LIGNITE CORPORATION
LIMITED, C.T.O. Building, Block-1, Neyveli – 607 801 up to the time
and date indicated for the following work.

Annual maintenance of GH AC plants for the year 2015
•

The tender shall be submitted in the two cover system as follows:
1. Part-I (Technical cover) shall be enclosed in a double sealed cover
with inscription “Part-I, with tender reference, description of the
work, date of opening” and full address of the firm.
2. Part-II (price cover) shall be enclosed in another double sealed cover
with inscription “Part-II, with tender reference, description of the
work” and full address of the firm.
Both the above covers shall be enclosed in another double sealed cover
superscribed with tender reference and description of work, date of
opening and full address of the firm.
The firms registered with NSIC/MSME are presently exempted
from furnishing Bid Guarantee and cost of tender documents provided that
such small scale units are registered under single point registration
scheme of the NSIC and are valid on the scheduled date of tender opening
and product range mentioned in the certificate is same or similar to our
requirement. The NSIC/MSME copies duly attested by any Notary Public
(or) Gazetted Officers (or) Practicing Chartered Accountant with seal and
date shall only be accepted.
Sealed tender should be addressed to General Manager/Electrical
Services and Communication.
Quotation shall be valid for three months from the date of opening
of the tender.
DETAILS OF BID: Part-I Technical Cover:
It shall consist of the following documents enclosed in a double sealed
cover.
1. Work schedule shall be duly signed by the tenderer in each page as
a token of acceptance to carry out the complete work.
2. NSIC/MSME Certificate as per the condition stipulated/EMD valid for
4 months.
3. Questionnaire filled and signed.
4. E payment form filled up and signed by bank Manager with seal.
5. Invitation to tender, general instruction to tenderers, terms &
conditions, special conditions and annexures shall be duly signed by
the tenderer in each page and submitted.
Note: If the quoted price is revealed in Part-I cover, the offer will
not be considered for further evaluation.
Part-II (Price Cover):
It shall consist of the price schedule with price quoted excess or less in
percentage with reference to the total tender value given and enclosed in
double sealed envelope.
NOTE: All the pages of the schedule shall be signed by the tenderer and
submitted.
Only the technical cover Part-I will be opened on the due date and the
date and time of opening of the Part-II (Price cover) will be intimated only
to the bidders qualified for the work.

Note: 1. The quotation shall be valid for 3 months from the date of opening.
2. If the opening day of the tender happens to be a holiday, the tender will be opened
on the next working day.
3. EMD shall be valid for 4 months from the date of opening.
4. The quotation without requisite EMD/valid NSIC/MSME certificate as per NIT will be
rejected.
