Note: All cadets under age 22 must have a current meningitis vaccination at least ten (10) days
prior to the 1st day of class.
Note: Applicants are required to use the medical and psychological providers the Academy
recommends. No other providers will be accepted per TCOLE Rules and Regulations.
Note: We have academy classes in Harlingen, Mission and Hidalgo. It is the applicant’s
responsibility to notify academy staff of the applicant’s desire to enroll in which site.
Academy slots are filled based on a first-come, first-served basis with law enforcement agency
employees having first priority.
