Alyssa Rupert and others work in a review station. Students in fifth grade have been learning about fractions. In addition to coloring a fraction chart for their math facts books, fraction bar manipulatives were used in class to compare fractions. Math stations were used for students to work in small groups on various math activities. Some stations related to fractions and some were set up as review stations. Students enjoyed working with their peers in the different math stations. Officer Bob’s Corner Parents/Guardians and Students, I want to start out by wishing you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! This month I would like to go over a few reminders for when you visit the school or pick up a child from school. Safety of the children at BRES is a priority for myself and the staff. We hope that you understand this. Visitors are always welcome at BRES. Whether you are eating lunch with a student or volunteering in the classroom, please come by the office to sign in and get a visitor’s badge. If you come to pick up a student and the office staff or I do not recognize you, we will ask for identification and verify that you are listed as a person that can pick up the child. No child will leave the school until this information is confirmed. Thank you everyone for being so supportive and caring of the children here at BRES!
