COMPANY OVERVIEW
• Able2learn Inc. (“The Company”) provides free inclusive educational material with a special
focus on Autism and other Learning Disabilities for anyone, anywhere.
• The Company has its own mandate of providing standardized special educational material
aligned to the Ontario Curriculum using the Curriculum from The Assessment of Basic
Language and Learning Skills -Revised, The VB- MAPP and The Early Start Denver Model.
• The Company has a focus on creating meaningful high school curriculum that teaches
functional skills for independence, a healthy lifestyle – diet, nutrition and exercise, and
vocational skills training.
PRODUCT OVERVIEW
PROGRAMS
• Most programs are created using real photographs and/or clear simple graphics for the
visual learner.
• Programs are levelled to allow for easy progression and, easy inclusion in the classroom.
• Multiple sheets of the same skill to allow for mastery and, to avoid boredom.
• Programs come with premade data sheets ( skill tracking system) for easy implementation
and minimal prep work.
• Programs include multiple goals across established developmental milestones in the same
program – with a large focus on speech development.
• Programs come with additional resources to aid in implementation :Token boards,
schedules, behavior aids etc.
• Programs are from Pre-K to High school.
• Programs take into account ABA/IBI principles and have been aligned to the Assessment of
Basic Language and Learning Skills-Revised, “ABLLS-R.”

VIDEO MODELING LIBRARY
• A resource based on evidence based research that shows learning programs that include
video modeling, enable students to maintain skills. Addtionally children are able to
generalize skills learned across all generalization conditions.
• A video modeling library will allow students to enhance and learn skills via video modeling
across different subject areas and, established developmental milestones.
• Video modeling is a successful modality for enhancing functional skills in children and
youth with ASD (3 to 18 years)
• The video modeling library is targeted and organized in the following categories: Peer
Modeling , Video Modeling, Videos to Aid Professionals, and Fun Inspirational Videos.
INFORMATION
• Information about Autism organized in an easy to find
format.
• Information about issues related to the target market, such
as nutrition, case studies, programs, behavior, tips, related
but not limited to all areas of the website.
• Personal private space to share information.
• Interactive community.
• Community for parents to discuss.

LIFESTYLE
• Information about Mental Health for caregivers, including
helplines.
• Information on Mental Health for the individual with
Autism.

• Behaviour Therapist Corner: Article, advice, ask and answer

USABILITY OVERVIEW
• Addresses the high cost of therapy , $70,000 a year plus.
• Accessible to teachers with minimal prep work.
• Allows for easy individual programming.
• Allows for inclusion.
• Based on established research based curriculum.
• Credit courses in high school.
POTENTIAL RESEARCH OVERVIEW
• ASD teens have the highest rates of obesity – health and
nutrition impacts with predefined markers. Studies on heart
disease , diet, using nutritional plates, education , changing
eating habits amongst other markers. Impact on the health
care system.
• Does the material allow for generalization of skills to teach
the functional skill of cooking for independence? Impact on
healthcare system (reduction)
• Does Video Modeling in different subject areas increase skills?
• Does the material allow for generalization of skills for

FUTURE GOALS • Be the first free online credited school for children with learning disabilities.
NEEDED INVESTMENT HIGHLIGHTS
• Complex website to deliver this information free. (Preliminary Design Completed)
• iPad App for learning the recipes, nutritional planning and creating weekly healthy menus.
• Grants for the development of special education programs in meaningful subject areas across established developmental
milestones, visual recipes, video modeling, vocational training and independant lifeskills.
