With summer upon us, the holiday season is fast
approaching – welcome to our last update on Cloverlea
Chirnside Park for 2014.
It has been an exciting year at Cloverlea as our first residents have moved into their
custom-built homes in Stage One. Residents will soon be able to enjoy the beautifully
landscaped rain garden complete with children’s playground, barbeque and
entertaining area, just in time for Christmas.
We’re showing no signs of slowing down as Stage Two bulk earthworks are now
complete and civil works are well underway. Civil infrastructure is also underway,
with anticipated completion in the third quarter of 2015.
Stage Three civil works will continue from Stage Two, with anticipated completion
in the third quarter of 2015. Of course, we are always at the mercy of Mother Nature,
and its changing fortunes.
Stage Four to Six early works have now ceased. The site will now be under
maintenance and security, until the next round of approvals and management
plans are completed.

LMC CHRISTMAS SOUND
AND LIGHT SHOW

spectacular LMC Christmas Sound and
Light Show! This year’s display brings
a whole new setup, featuring
approximately 40,000 LED lights and
a five-metre high mega tree. Showcasing
every night from 10-24 December,

BLUE LOTUS WATER GARDEN
The Blue Lotus Water Garden’s Lotus
Flower Season starts on 27 December
and features thousands of lotus flower
blooms in many different varieties, spread
over 14 acres of ponds and ornamental
lakes in a tropical garden. Some flowers
stand six feet out of the water with flower
heads the size of dinner plates! See the
world’s giant waterlily species, as well
as one of the oldest flowers on earth –
the 2000 year-old Japanese Oga Lotus
pond. Suitable for all ages, visit Blue

Friends of Cloverlea: Chirnside Park Pre-School
Chirnside Park Pre-School is now accepting enrolments for 2015 and beyond.
Limited spaces are available for next year, including three year-old and
four year-old kinder programs. Having celebrated its 40th anniversary this year,
the pre-school is one of the most established organisations in the Chirnside
Park community. The staff at the kinder provide a well-structured play-based
curriculum, which includes ‘Sunsmart’, ‘Kids – Go for your Life’ and
‘Learning for Sustainability’ programs.
