Submitting Initial Filings
Initial Filings should be submitted along with a Transmittal Form at the SCA’s Building
Code Compliance division.
Recommended New Building and Addition Doc Order

Document 01 – Zoning Egress (PW-1)

Document 02 – Structural (PW-1)

Document 03 – Underground Plumbing (PW-1 & PW-1B)

Document 04 – Civil \ Exterior Plumbing (PW-1 & PW-1B)

Document 05 – Main Plumbing / Mechanical (PW-1 & PW-1B)


Remote Access to the BCC System
Applicants or filing representatives can use the SCA’s Extranet, the Citrix Application
Portal for remote access to the BCC System. Access can be gained by notarizing a nondisclosure agreement and requesting access from BCC Management.
Disapproved Filings
Disapproved filings can be retrieved from the cabinet in the front area of BCC.
Requesting Appointments
When the plans are revised for resubmission to the Plan Examiner the applicant or filing
representative may schedule an appointment by emailing [email protected] with
the following:





The Plan Examiner’s name
The school name/building ID
The FID number
Contact information
The reason for the appointment or necessary information

Requesting BCC Folders and/or Drawings
If a folder or drawing is required for an appointment or for review.
Requests for approved or permitted BCC Folders and/or Drawings should be sent to
[email protected] with the following:




DOB Number
The school name/building ID
DOB number
If the Folder/Drawings are needed for an appointment, the date and time of the
appointment and name of Plan Examiner or Technical Inspector
The Folders and/or Drawings can be picked up at the Plans Desk in the front of BCC.
Approved/Permitted filings are not allowed out Of BCC.
