opportunity for children to learn to sing, play guitar and songwrite.

Spend the summer exploring the river valley, trying a new sport, discovering
your creative side or experiencing life as a pioneer. Day camps are held
throughout the summer at many different City facilities such as City Arts
Centre, Fort Edmonton Park, John Walter Museum, Edmonton Valley Zoo,
Muttart Conservatory, River Valley Camps and Leisure, Sports and Fitness
Centers.

The program offers Unlimited, low cost admission to any City of Edmonton
recreation facility; 75% discount for 4 registered programs* and required supplies
for children and youth; 75% off the cost of materials for registered programs where
applicable.
To qualify a new immigrant or a refugee must have been in Canada less than
one year and have not filed a tax return.

Triple P (Parent Positive Program) provides parents with the strategies to

Offer students a week long camps where they can complete exciting projects
and challenges across engineering, science, technology, and math. From the
gripping general science camps to the thrilling theme camps, there is fun
science waiting for everyone!
Offer children the opportunity to participate in fun and engaging activities.
Camps are designed to spark their imagination, build confidence,
independence and communication skills. YMCA Opportunity Fund allows
those who are unable to afford the full cost of membership and/or programs to
access the YMCA at a reduced cost.
A week-long summer camp program is a chance for campers to experience
teepee living and activities that will expand imaginations and stimulate social,
physical and emotional development, provide a fun, outdoor recreational
experience to those children who would otherwise not have the opportunity to
experience a children’s summer camp
Weekend family camp, running Friday to Sunday throughout July and August
provides an opportunity for families to spend time relaxing and reconnecting
outdoors. Families can sit back, relax, and enjoy the picturesque landscape.
These are the only programs available at the time of printing. Some of the programs listed above may offer discount rates for low income families.
