CMH Heli‐Skiing will exclusively use Mammut packs.
CMH Heli‐Skiing will no longer carry ABS packs but we do have ABS cylinders/triggers for rent
The Steeps Trips: a complimentary AFD is provided, if/when reserved at time of booking, and compliance is
considered a best practice
Weekly pack rental cost $245 ($35/day on shorter trips)
Weekly cylinder (and trigger) rental cost $105 ($15/day on shorter trips)
A $105.00 non‐refundable deposit will be taken at the time of booking an AFD pack;
no deposit is required for cylinder/trigger bookings.
Prices are subject to taxes (GST & PST)
CMH does NOT refill any AFD cylinders

or representative You will be required to sign a rental agreement / waiver at the area
Rental cost includes an orientation on AFD use before you start skiing
AFD rentals are subject to availability and on a first‐come‐first‐serve basis. Book early to ensure you get one.
REMEMBER – you will be required to take the AFD off and secure the trigger device at the bottom of each
run! We will supply you with a shovel and probe to use for the week.

 For the 2014‐15 season the SnowPulse rental fleet available to CMH will operate with
the 2.0 cylinder system ONLY
 NEW We will NOT be carrying the Snowpulse 1.0 cylinder system (older Snowpulse AFDs may not be
compatible; please check with Operations if you have questions)
These two models will be offered for rent as follows: o

Mammut Rocker: Adamants, Bobbie Burns, Bugaboos, Cariboos & Valemount
Snowpulse Pro‐Rider: Galena, Gothics, CMH K2, Monashees, Revelstoke & Nomads
Note on Personal Packs: o
Due to size and weight restrictions for the helicopter basket, personal packs will need to be approved by the area
manager/guide on arrival. Please note you are required to carry the CMH provided probe & shovel in your pack. ~~~
