AFR contribution Postdoc 4.000 €/project CORE Junior – integrated into annual CORE call Generally 3 years, submitted by a junior Principal Investigator Budget: ~0.3-0.5 mio €/project CORE Junior Track projects should help unexperienced PIs to establish own independent research lines The project should be initiated by the Junior PI and should be hosted within an existing research group The research should largely be conducted by the Junior PI with limited additional staff & collaborations (2 FTE; PI at least 50% on the project; one national or international collaboration) The ambition and thus the feasibility of the project should be in line with the experience of the PI Additional independent advice on the scientific orientation of the project, career development and networking is provided by a mentor abroad 10 ATTRACT – Excellent researchers from abroad Annual Call, Project duration: 5 years Budget: 1.75 – 2.5 mio. € per project (depending on researcher’s level of experience) The ATTRACT programme aims to support the Luxembourgish research institutions to expand their competences in strategic research areas by attracting outstanding young researchers with high potential to Luxembourg. The ATTRACT programme is designed for researchers not yet established in Luxembourg. Research proposals must be submitted jointly by the candidate and the host institution.
