Output from Lemon 7ch Sta

Responses of Lemon 7ch Stabilizer v4 to Spektrum transmitter inputs. Transmitter type Spektrum Tx Input → DX6/DX4/5/LP5DSM Thr Ail Ele Rud Gear/ Aux1/Flap Ch5/ Bind Sw/ ACT/AUX Trainer Sw (See note 3) (See note 3) Comments DX7 adds DX8+ adds Aux2 Aux3 Aux 3 controls Master Gain from -‐150% = LOW (0x multiplication) to +150% = HIGH (2x multiplication). Note that when the stabilizer is ON there is some very slight stabilization even with Master Gain at -‐100% with all individual gain pots fully anticlockwise. There is significant stabilization even with Master Gain at -‐100% with all pots in center position. To get NO stabilization under control of the inflight gain (Aux3) you need to set the servo travel on Aux3 to +/-‐
150%. Not leave it at the default +/-‐100%. This is useful if you want full response for aerobatics when you turn the master gain fully off and do not wish to use the On/Off switch. Receiver outputs when Dip Switches are set as follows: Stabilizer disabled mode Transmitter Wing Type NORMAL All OFF Thr Ail Elev Rud Gear Aux1 Aux2 -‐ Stabilization disabled. A v4 can be identified by a double flash of both LEDs on power up. 2) On a DX8 the Aux3 channel has to be reversed to give Clockwise knob = Increase. 3) All low end Spektrum transmitters actually transmit 6 channels. The info in a)-‐d) below is based on what I have researched; it has not been verified. a) The Dx4e and DX5e both have a full travel 5th channel operated by the ACT/AUX switch on the DX4e and Ch5 switch on the DX5e. The EFlight LP5DSM has a th
th
5 channel operated by a knob. The 5 channel will switch the Lemon stab on and off in flight. b) The sixth channel is operated by the Bind button on the DX4E and Trainer switch on the DX5e. c) On the DX5e the 6th channel is a full travel channel. d) On the DX4e the 6th channel travel is slightly limited. It goes from 1.17ms to 1.852ms so not quite full travel. 4) A DX6 allows Stab ON/OFF plus 5 controlled servo outputs. For example Gear or Flaps or second aileron (LAL) on Aux1 5) A DX7 allows Stab ON/OFF plus 6 controlled servo outputs. For example Gear or Flaps or second aileron (LAL) on Aux1 and Gear or Flaps on Aux2 6) A DX8 and above adds master gain control by the Aux3 knob. 7) The Gear output on the stabilizer is available to drive a servo but is of limited practical use. Whatever is attached will follow the switching on and off of the stabilizer.
