LLMPG Inc Annual Exhibition - Competition
Location: Lal Lal Soldiers Memorial Hall Clarendon – Lal Lal Rd Lal Lal.

Dates 23rd – 24th August 2014 Admission $2 pp. Primary school kids,Free. Open to Public 10am – 4 pm.
Competition: Close of entries, Friday 25th July 2014. No late entries accepted.
Mat & Print sizes: Mat 12 x 16” only, 7.5” x 11.5” internal mat size. ( 8x12” A4) print. No other sizes accepted
For Mats that conform you can order them from our group @ $10 each Non Members.
On the back of print you must supply: Your Name, Title of Print, Where Photo was taken, Corresponding number on
entry form. Group/ Club details, Identify top. * All photos must be taken by the entrant. Printing may be self or
commercially done.
Cost:
$5 Admin fee plus $2 per print,. Limit 10 prints, max 2 per categories.
Sections.
Youth : Primary School only, 6 – 12.years old.
Novice: 13 up, not been in photo group for more than 2 years.
Open: Photo group members 2 years plus, and or have been published.
Awards 1st , 2nd & 3rd Trophy, 1 x Highly commended, certificate. Each Section & Category. 1 x Best in Show

Categories, 1.Portrait/People. 2. Landscape/Seascape. 3. Macro. 4. Flora. 5. Fauna.
NO PREVIOUS ENTRIES. This means Photos should not have been entered before. No winning photos allowed from
any other exhibitions or shows.
No HDR work, No Manipulated work. B & W, Colour and Sepia allowed. Only 400 prints will be accepted.
Sale price of photo to include 20% commission to LLMPG on back of print. All GST on sales is the responsibility of
the Artist.
All entries to be prepaid either by cheque made out to Lal Lal Moorabool Photographic group Inc. post to Secretary or
deposit straight into account. By Friday 25th July. 2014.

Prints & Awards are to be collected at end of exhibition, if not collected without prior agreement, a holding fee of $10
a month will apply to be paid on collection. If not collected after 3 months the photo will be destroyed.
Any mailed entries must be supplied with stamped & addressed appropriate sized envelope.

Categories Defined.
1.Portrait/People.
A Picture of a person or persons that may range from the head (especially the face) to a full body study.
Including Candid and Formal Portraits.
A Portrait should attempt to show something of the character and or the mood of the subject,
Please make sure if face is showing that you have permission to display them.
2. Landscape / Seascape.
Photographs featuring the Natural Scenery of the terrain.
A Tree, people or buildings maybe included but not dominate.
A photograph in which the sea or waves dominate.
Coastal features or the shoreline maybe included to a lesser degree.
3.Macro.
Insects and Flowers are common subject matter.
Extreme close-up photography, usually of very small subjects, in which the size of the subject in the photograph is
greater than life size.
Photograph of an image which is scale 1:1 or greater.
4.Flora.
Plants and Flowers in Full detail. No Macro.
Flora is the plant life occurring in a particular region, generally the naturally occurring or indigenous—native plant life.
5.Fauna.
Animals, Birds, & Insects.
Man Made objects may appear, but not be the main subject of image.
Fauna is all of the animal life .. a typical collection of animals.
*The greatest of care will be given to entries but organisers will not accept liability for loss or damage.
Winning photos may be displayed on our website. The Organisers may publish the work in any publication for any
promotional purpose both now and in the future, The organisers take all care but cannot accept liability of any misuse
of copyright,
By submitting the work the entrant certifies the work to be their own original work and does not incorporate elements
produced by anyone else other than the entrant.
Organisers reserve the right to not display any image it considers unsuitable for public display or exhibition.
Identical or near identical prints may not be entered by the same person/entrant.
Disclaimer, It is the responsibility of the members to obtain model releases, and ensure that copyright approval is
obtained.
Members submitting images must be aware and accept that the images will be displayed in a public place and as
such must be suitable for general viewing.
