Kia manawanui! Dunedin Marathon Challenge: The countdown is on for the Marathon Challenge this Sunday. We have been clocking up the kilometres everyday to be sure that our runners entering the event at the weekend can finish their 42km journey. Congratulations to Jasmine Day who was the lucky winner of a new pair of sports shoes. This week Michael Crosson completed his project on the “Fall of France”. This grew out of learning around a novel called “This Land We Call Home” by Alison Lohans. Michael enjoyed negotiating his learning, as the topic was one he was interested in. Being able to set his learning goals added to the motivation. Michael says the best thing about this learning was researching the information and presenting it in his own words. The hardest thing was to meet the deadline. Great job, Michael.
