BAC Resolution declaring Single Calculated and Responsive Bid (SCRB) and Recommending Approval RESOLUTION NO. 2014 - _____ WHEREAS, the Department of Tourism (DOT) posted the Invitation to Bid (IB) for the Philippine – India Travel Exchange (PHILINDEX) in the DOT website, the Phil-GEPS website, and in a conspicuous place at the premises of the DOT continuously for at least seven (7) days whereby the deadline for submission of bids was set on September 17, 2014; WHEREAS, in response to the said postings, only one (1) bidder purchased bid documents and submitted its bid and was found eligible on September 17, 2014, the date of the Opening of Bids (includes eligibility check); WHEREAS, the bid proposal of the hereunder bidder was found to be substantially complying: Name of Bidder SHROFF INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL CARE, INC. Bid Amount (As Read) PhP2,144,747.00 WHEREAS, the detailed evaluation of bid proposal resulted in the following: Name of Bidder SHROFF INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL CARE, INC. Bid Amount (As Calculated) PhP2,144,747.00 WHEREAS, upon detailed evaluation, careful examination, validation and verification of bid proposal submitted by the Single Calculated Bid, its bid has been found to be responsive; NOW, THEREFORE, We, the Members of the Bids and Awards Committee, hereby RESOLVE as it is hereby RESOLVED: a) To declare SHROFF INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL CARE, INC., as the Single Calculated and Responsive Bid (SCRB) for the Philippine – India Travel Exchange (PHILINDEX); b) To recommend for approval by the Secretary of the Department of Tourism the foregoing findings.
