Space for the Research Commons facilities has been demarcated at all the campus libraries. The
Research Common spaces are reserved for Postgraduate students, Researchers and the Postdoctoral
fellows engaged in research activities.
Currently the APK and the DFC Research Commons facilities are used for studying purpose only as
they are not yet equipped with the relevant technology to support research activities. Bunting
library facility is up and running with the state-of-the-art PCs installed. The Soweto Research
Commons is under construction and you will be notified as soon as it is ready for use.
The Research Commons facilities are situated as follows in the campus libraries:
APK Campus:
At the APK library the facility is situated on the 2nd floor of
the library where the print periodicals are.
APB Campus:
The facility is situated on the 2nd floor of the Library next
to the Learning Commons area
DFC Campus:
The facility is situated in the Archive area
Soweto Campus:
The facility is still under construction and is situated at old
photocopying facility on the 1st floor
