Gateway Students Fall Camp | FAQ How do I request a roommate? There are no roommate requests for this event. Students will be placed in cabins according to campus, gender, and grade level. Our heart is for students to make new friends and connections during this retreat. I clicked the link to register, but I was unable to select my student. Is registration closed? If you click on the link to your campus, but there is nothing to select, it is possible that registration for that campus has filled up. Please contact the campus to verify. See below for the contact information for your campus. Is that okay? You are welcome to register with any campus you prefer. Please note, the campus you choose will determine your student’s leader and cabin mates. How do I request a scholarship or financial assistance? Please contact the campus your student attends to get a Scholarship Request Form. Scholarship requests must be turned in by Wednesday, October 15. When does registration close? Registration will close either when all of the spots are full or on Monday, October 20. Please do not put off registration; spots are very limited. Where do we check in and pick up for this event? You will check in and pick up from the campus that you register with. Please see the Parent Information Packet that is linked to the registration page at students.gatewaypeople.com. It includes all of the important information concerning the retreat. Is there a parent info meeting? All of the information that would be provided in a parent info meeting is provided in the Parent Information Packet. Please read over it carefully and contact us with any questions that you have. What is the refund/cancellation policy? There is a $50 nonrefundable deposit for all registered students. For those who paid in full ($150), $100 refunds are available until October 20, 2014. Following this date, no refunds will be given, and credit cannot be applied to another Gateway Church event. I haven’t heard anything since I registered. I need to verify that my student is registered. All information is sent to the email address you provided during online registration. If you have not received a confirmation email or you have questions, please contact the campus that you registered with. Is there a way to register for this event and pay later? Payment is required to reserve a spot. If you go online and register before October 15, then you will have the option to pay a $50 nonrefundable deposit for registration. The balance will be automatically charged on October 20. If you need financial assistance, please contact the campus that you plan to register with. Do I need to fill out any waivers for this event? There are required waivers for this event. They will be emailed via DocuSign on Monday, October 20, to the email you provided in the “Email for Electronic Waivers” section during online registration. DocuSign allows you to fill out and sign your waivers electronically, without a witness or notary. Will junior high students share cabins with senior high students? Students will be arranged in cabins according to campus and gender. In some cases, junior and senior high students may share cabins, but there will also be a 1:10 leader-to-student ratio in each cabin. What will the students be doing on this retreat? Students will participate in small groups, informative and encouraging breakout sessions, and incredible worship services. They will have a chance to grow in their relationships with current friends as well as make new friends. There will also be a time for students to engage in recreational activities such as zip lining, archery, basketball, etc. Where is this retreat? This retreat takes place at Riverbend Retreat Center in Glen Rose, Texas. What does the registration payment include? Registration includes transportation, lodging, meals, and activity costs for the duration of the weekend. Students are welcome to bring snacks, or they can bring money to buy snacks and souvenirs in the gift shop. What time will they return on Sunday?
