Located in Clark Freeport Zone, Alpha
Aviation Group Philippines (AAGP) is a leading
provider of airline pilot training serving the
Asia Pacific region.
Pilot demand in this region is the highest of
anywhere in the world. With AAGP’s unrivalled
reputation and our extremely high graduate
success rate with over 95% cadets gaining
employment with airlines, you could not choose
a better school with whom to complete your
airline pilot training.
AAGP offers training to both newcomers to
aviation and seasoned pilots - from individuals
with no flying experience, through to major
airlines within the region. However, what sets us
apart from the competition is not the high quality
of training we deliver, or the fact we have the
most up-to-date technology to help you learn.
AAGP is the
only ISO 9001
accredited flight
school in the
Philippines
It is our whole ethos, our attention to detail, our
dedication to safety and our determination to
look after our customers – to ensure they get the
very best the industry can offer.
The AAGP Flight Line is located at Clark International Airport which has two parallel 3200m

range of Air Traffic Control Services. Having an airport with such equipment means we
have the best training environment a trainee can wish for, in that it will fully prepare you for
your future flying career.
AAGP is extremely well resourced in terms of facilities and equipment. Modern equipped

Why choose AAGP?
Training Expertise
With tens of thousands of hours between them, our teams of instructors provide a wealth of
knowledge and experience gained from employment with airlines, the military and general
aviation training operations. Besides expertise in their particular field, AAGP appointed ground
and flight instructional staff also provide mentorship to cadets individually to ensure close and
careful monitoring of training progress.
State-of-the-art Aircraft and Simulators
AAGP’s fleet consists of modern Cessna 172 aircraft with digital computerised avionics (known
as ‘glass cockpit’) various static simulators and a full motion highly realistic Airbus simulator
upon which we deliver type ratings to major airlines in the region. Capable and accurate flying
on flight instruments is a primary skill expected of an airline pilot, which is why our training fleet
and equipment is aligned so closely with that found on the flight deck of a modern commercial
airliner.
Customer Care
Training to be an airline pilot requires total commitment and a great
deal of concentration over a long period of time. Being away from
home with so much to absorb requires the strongest constitution.
AAGP’s customer care is second to none, and no problem is
too small. Our staff are here to help you with any non-training
problems which may arise, leaving you free to concentrate on the
more important matters as you progress through your training.
Our modern fleet thoroughly prepares you for the flight deck of a
modern commercial airliner
Airline recognition
While no pilot training course can guarantee you a job, the vast
majority of AAGP graduates upon completing their training go on
to work for one of the major airlines of the region.
Our current statistics reveal that over 95% of our cadets gain
employment with airlines such as:

The Alpha FOT is a unique program which includes everything a low
hours inexperienced CPL/IR holder needs to be able to apply to an
airline for a First Officer position.
The course is delivered to pilots in pairs and its duration is approximately
3 months*.
The FOT Program package includes the following:
Multi-crew Cooperation - MCC 32 hours
This short course is designed to teach you how to work as a pair
– as a pilot and co-pilot. This is not about the technical aspects
of flying but about the human aspect. The objectives of the
MCC training are to optimize communication, division of tasks,
use of checklists, mutual supervision, teamwork and support
throughout all phases of flight under normal, abnormal and
emergency conditions.
Crew (or Cockpit) Resource Management - CRM 5 days
CRM is a set of training procedures for use in environments where
human error can have devastating effects. Used primarily for
improving air safety, CRM focuses on interpersonal communication,
leadership, and decision making in the cockpit.
Jet Orientation Training - JOT 16 hours
Where MCC was not concerned with the technical aspects of flying a jet, JOT is just that. This
course focuses on improving aeronautical proficiency and bridges the gap between flying propellerdriven aircraft and piloting fast jets. In JOT you train over several sessions that build on each other,
the complexity increasing each time, as do the demands placed on you.
Airbus A320 Type Rating - TR 36 hours
The aim of this part of the program is to provide you with sufficient theoretical knowledge, of Normal
and Abnormal Procedures, and Type Related Flying skills to qualify for the award of an Airbus A320
Type Rating. This culminates in an Airbus A320 Skill Test in the full flight simulator.
Line Oriented Flight Training - LOFT 4 hours (included in TR above)
A LOFT session is intended to provide crews with opportunities to enhance their understanding of
the Airbus A320 and to apply CRM principles in order to operate the aircraft in real time scenarios.
Airbus A320 Theoretical Knowledge Instruction - TKI CBT 10 days VPT 40 hours
Ground training in this package consists of both classroom instruction and computer-based-training.
All the very latest technology is used to refine your skills including a new Airbus Virtual Procedures
Trainer.
*Please note that the training duration may vary depending on CAAP processing of documents,
trainee’s progress and performance, and simulator slots.
