Keynote Speaker:
LOUISE DUMAS, MSN, PHD
is a professor and researcher in Nursing Sciences
in Quebec, is part of a Russian-Swedish-Canadian
research team studying Russian swaddling and
mother-infant separation at birth, and is also a lead
assessor for the Breastfeeding Committee for
Canada. She has authored more than 35 articles
and book chapters. Louise currently works at the
administrative and clinical level with hospitals
and community health centers to implement
evidence-based perinatal practices in Quebec,
Ontario, and New Brunswick.
Speakers:
OLGA JOVKOVIC, BN
has over 25 years experience working in Public
Health. As a Healthy Families Manager at Toronto
Public Health, Olga was responsible for the
implementation of the Toronto Breastfeeding Study
released in 2010 and more recently, Toronto Public
Health’s journey to BFI designation.
