Sports Club Programme 2014/2015 “We offer a large and diversified choice of activities in order to give every student several possibilities to join.” SSB BIS Sports Club • Sports Activities increase well-being and health and offer a recreational or/and competitive sports experience. • Developing the student’s individual and collective skills, techniques and tactics, Fair play, self-control and respect. • Developing the sociability, sense of responsibility and cooperation of the students by meeting students from different classes, schools, nationalities etc. and by working in team. • Developing creativity, imagination, spontaneity, self-confidence etc. during games and fun activities. The different activities offered can vary every year according to the demand. We propose a large and diversified choice of activities in order to give every student several possibilities to join the Sports Club. You are welcome to try many activities in our nice facilities! Some sports activities are given in French by Belgian Physical Education teachers specializing in the sport they are teaching. The objective is to combine learning French in a more relax way with helping the students to understand and integrate into the Belgian community. Sports Friendly meetings and competitions will be organized in order to give a motivating objective to the learning and create contacts with Belgian and international schools. You can also count on our help if you want to contact a Belgian Sports Club.” SSB BIS Extracurricular Activities All activities start at 15.30 or 17.00 with the exception of Wednesday activities starting at 13.00 if nothing else is indicated. The Full Package at 5 days per week, or a combination of activities at 650 euros per semester, will get you free French lessons once a week for one Adult. All groups must reach indicated number of participants to be able to start. All costs are per semester. 13-16 activities per semester, 26-32 times per year if nothing else is indicated. Packages • #Big five: Pick five activities from C choices (15.30-17.00) - €550/semester. • #Young Student package: pick five activities from C choices (15.30-17.00) plus either Stay and Study or Wednesday Arts and Drama €685/semester. • #Full Package – all activities, free choice = €915/semester and Student. When the groups are full, there will be a waiting list, or if possible, another group on another day. Please note that changes in classes, days or ages can occur. Activities are payable before the first session. Payments are made for one semester at a time, and fees are reimbursed immediately if the groups are cancelled. Signing up means that you have agreed with these terms. Prices are valid for SSB, DNSB and BIS students only. External Students can be accepted in certain cases with a cost surplus of 50%. (See School calendar). You can register on apply.ssb.be Registration for a sport will be granted in the order in which the registration forms are received. The number of places for each sport is limited! If there are no more places in your chosen sport, you will be informed and placed on a waiting list.
