Welcome to the new Oregon State University Zonal Parking System, thoughtfully created to meet the needs of faculty, staff, students and visitors.
Parking permits may be purchased online at parking.oregonstate.edu or at the Parking Services office, located in Adams Hall at 606 SW 15th St.

How to Display Permits
•Repositionable Decal Permits: Display
on the inside lower, driver’s side
corner of the rear window. The entire
permit must be visible from outside
the vehicle.
•Hangtag Permits: Display on rearview
mirror, with the permit number
visible to the outside.
•Sticker Permits: Attach in a clearly
visible location. For utility carts,
attach permits to the rear of the
vehicle on the driver’s side.
•Daily and Monthly Permits: Display on
the front driver’s side dash. The entire
permit must be visible from outside
the vehicle.

Oregon State University
Carpools
A 35 percent discount on parking permits is given to carpool vehicles. A minimum of three people per car is
required to qualify. Ten priority carpool spaces are available for carpool permit holders.
Motorcycle Parking
Available throughout campus. Motorcycle Decals are
valid in motorcycle spaces only.
ADA
Vehicles may park in ADA spaces anywhere on campus with a DMV-issued ADA parking placard and an
Oregon State parking permit, even a $95 C zone permit.
Conferences and Events
For conferences and events with 20+ attendees, contact the Parking Services office for special parking
assignments. Daily visitor rates apply.

Unless otherwise specified on the permit, annual parking permits will expire on Sept. 30, 2015.
Parking Regulations
Parking permit holders are responsible for understanding and
following campus parking regulations listed here and on the
parking.oregonstate.edu website.
•Permits are required year-round, Monday through Friday, from 7 a.m.
to 5 p.m. Permits must be clearly and properly displayed.
•Parking spaces are marked by painted lines and curbs, or signs
explicitly allowing parking. Parking is not allowed in areas without
such markings.
•Vehicles abandoned on campus for more than 72 hours will be towed
at the owner’s expense. Notify Parking Services should your vehicle
become inoperable to avoid citation(s) or removal.
•All metered parking spaces require payment during regulated times.
If the meter is not working, park in another location and notify
Parking Services at 541-737-2583.
•Loading zones are exclusively for loading and unloading. The maximum
time for loading zone use is 30 minutes.
•Vehicles parked in a railroad right-of-way, fire lane, in an unsafe
manner or in a reserved parking space are subject to immediate
towing at the owner’s expense.
•Counterfeiting, altering or misuse of any parking permit will result in
revocation of the permit in addition to a fine.
•Permits are not transferable to others. The permit owner is responsible
for violations associated with the permit.
•Additional parking and motor vehicle regulations may be reviewed at
parking.oregonstate.edu.
Parking Citations
Citation fines can be paid online at parking.oregonstate.edu or at the
Parking Services office.
Individuals may appeal a citation by submitting a written appeal letter
with the citation fine online or at the Parking Services office within 10
days of citation issuance. Decisions on appeals are final and not subject
to further review.
If paid within 10 days, fine amounts may be paid at a reduced rate.
Vehicles may be booted after three or more unpaid citations. The total
amount of all tickets and the boot fee must be paid before the boot can
be removed. If the account is not paid in full within 72 hours, the vehicle
will be towed at the owner’s expense.
Visitor and Short-Term Parking
•Hourly parking is available at parking meters and Pay Station machine
locations shown on the map.
•Daily and monthly permits may be purchased at the Parking Services
office or online at parking.oregonstate.edu. Daily permits may also
be purchased with exact cash, debit and credit cards at Pay Station
machine locations.
•Daily permits are valid in short-term and commuter parking lots
within the zones for which they are purchased.
•Monthly permits are valid in commuter lots only, either all A zones, all
B zones or the C zone.
•Three-hour ADA visitor permits are available at no cost at the Parking
Services office and the Information Booth.

Beaver Bus
Free on-campus shuttle!
•The Beaver Bus runs Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., with
5-14 minute loops.
• Buses are ADA accessible, heated and air conditioned.
• During fall, winter and spring terms, four buses operate on three
routes: the North, East and West Routes shown on the map.
•During the summer term and holiday breaks, one bus runs on the
West Route.
•Buses use only designated stops for pick-up and drop-off.
•Real time GPS tracking of the Beaver Bus is available at
osushuttles.com. From the website, you can also
download apps for iPhone and Android to track
the bus locations on your phone.
