52 □ 爽籟軒庭園 Souraiken Garden ________________________________________________ 住所: 〒722-0045 尾道市久保 2-6-6 Address: 2-6-6 Kuboi, Onomichi-shi 722-0045 電話番号 / Telephone: （0848）37-1234 施設紹介: 爽籟軒は，江戸時代の豪商・橋本家の別荘で趣向を凝らした庭園や茶室は，当時の豪商や尾道の繁栄を物語る文化遺産です。とりわけ爽籟軒茶室「明喜庵」は京都山崎にある国宝「妙喜庵待庵」の写しとされ，日本に数例しかなく，歴史的資料としても貴重な文化財です。 Facility introduction: Souraiken was the second house of a prosperous merchant family of the Edo period, the Hashimoto Family. With its elaborately designed garden and teahouse, this cultural heritage site is a powerful reminder of the prosperity of Onomichi’s merchants and of the town itself. Souraiken Garden’s teahouse, “Myokian”, a copy of the “Myokian-taian” (a National treasure in Yamazaki, Kyoto) is a structure particularly rare in Japan and is therefore a priceless Cultural Property. 開館時間: 土日祝日振替休日 1 月 2 日・3 日 10:00-17:00（ただし 11 月～3 月は 16:00 まで）休館日: 平日 Hours of operation: Opens on Saturdays, Sundays, holidays, substitute holidays and January 2nd and 3rd 10:00-17:00 (Apr. to Oct) 10:00-16:00 (Nov. to Mar.)
