HOST:
Athens Bulldog Swim Club
FACILITY:
University of Georgia’s Ramsey Center: 50 meter pool with separate
warm-up/down pool. 8 lanes will be used for competition.
ELIGIBILITY:
Open to members of ABSC, CBF and MAAC only.
RULES:
The 2014 USA Swimming rules will govern the conduct of this meet.
Swimmers will be responsible for swimming in the proper heat and lane.
All swimmers, teams and coaches must be USA-registered and coaches
will be asked to show their registration. Officials must wear their USA
cards while on deck and must present their Georgia Swimming Officials
card to the meet referee upon check-in. Please Note: Use of audio or
visual recording devices, including a cell phone, is not permitted in rest
rooms or locker rooms. Deck changing is not permitted
SCHEDULE:
Warm-up will begin at 8:00 am. The meet will begin at 9:00 am.
FORMAT:
This will be a timed finals meet.
TIME STANDARDS:
This is an open meet with no time standards.
ENTRIES:
Swimmers may swim a maximum of four events and one relay.
ENTRY FEES:
$25 per swimmer
ENTRY DEADLINE:
Entries must be in to the Meet Director by Thursday, October 9th.
SCORING:
Points will be awarded as follows: Individual events: 9, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1.
Relay points will be double the individual points.
WARM UPS:
Warm ups will be governed by the guidelines as adopted by Georgia
Swimming, Inc.
WAIVER
In granting this approval it is understood and agreed that USA
Swimming, Georgia Swimming, Inc., and Athens Bulldog Swim Club shall
be free and held harmless from any liabilities or claims for damages
arising by reason of injuries to anyone during the conduct of the event.
