A Notifiable Project is any construction work lasting more than 30 days with 20 men working simultaneously. Construction work includes construction, alterations. conversions, fitting out, renovations, extensions, repairs, redecorations, maintenance etc. A CDM Co-ordinator can be anyone in the Construction Industry who is competent and capable with enough evidence to show that they meet the Health and Safety Standards of CDM Regulations 2007/2015, taking into account the nature of the project and the risks involved. Competency is still the foundation for risk management. Another main proposal is that only relevant information is to form the basis of health and safety plans and risk assessments.
