Now organised and run by the Association
of CDM Co-ordinators (as a one day course)
AcPC 3
Construction
(Design & Management)
Regulations 2007/2015
With so many Construction Work Projects, both
commercial and domestic now to be covered by the 2015
regulations, in construction, demolitions, maintenance, and
repairs etc. to satisfy the HSE.
Why not train your own Employee who with CDM
knowledge could become competent to take up the 'inhouse' or consultant role of CDM Co-ordinator.
The Association is introducing a CDM Certificate for all
would be Co-ordinators.
ASSOCIATION of
CDM CO-ORDINATORS
Passing this Certificate will enable employees or consultants,
with basic Heath and Safety knowledge, to gain further
competency to seek and practise as 'in-house' CDM Coordinators.
With the backing of the Association such employees or
consultants can take the first step towards CDM capability
in the construction industry.
The Association will advise and act as a back up for all
would be 'in-house' or consultant CDM Co-ordinators on
their first small project.
Every project must have Principal CDM Co-ordinators.
As Principal CDM Co-ordinators are required on so many
projects, both small and large, it is essential that all clients,
principal contractors and contractors are aware of the need
to appoint 'in-house' or Consultant.
CDM CO-ORDINATORS
The CDM Certificate will be a one day course
and attract 10 CPD points

CDM CO-ORDINATORS
European/British Criminal Law
Health & Safety Regulations
Everyday tens of thousands, in fact, millions of
Construction Projects are started either in a Clients office
or on site.
A Notifiable Project is any construction work lasting
more than 30 days with 20 men working
simultaneously.
Construction work includes construction, alterations.
conversions, fitting out, renovations, extensions, repairs,
redecorations, maintenance etc.
A CDM Co-ordinator can be anyone in the Construction
Industry who is competent and capable with enough
evidence to show that they meet the Health and Safety
Standards of CDM Regulations 2007/2015, taking into
account the nature of the project and the risks involved.
Competency is still the foundation for risk
management.
Another main proposal is that only relevant
information is to form the basis of health and safety
plans and risk assessments. Generic documents are
not acceptable.
