held from 17 – 19 November, 2014 with a CEA exam on the 20 of November, 2014 at
Castleknock Hotel & Country Club, Somerton Road, Castleknock, Dublin 15.
Overview
Based on the growing demand for qualified professionals, the Certified Energy Auditor
(CEA) certification was developed and added to the broad portfolio of professional
certifications offered by the Association of Energy Engineers. This unique course, which
has been offered for the first time in Ireland, aims to address the needs of modern business.
By incorporating a Certified Energy Audit (CEA) professional qualification with
Certification Europe’s own bespoke ISO 50001 energy management system course we aim
to arm energy management professionals with the complete tool kit to reduced energy use
in any organisation.
Covering the concepts and structures of effective energy management from a systems
structure (based around the International Energy Management System ISO 50001) and a
technical concept, this course looks at how to identify the areas of significant energy use
and gives attendees approaches to assess the energy performance of the organisation.
Using case studies and practical exercises, this 3 day course (plus 1 day for an exam) will
guide delegates through the typical areas of significant energy use within organisations
and provide trainees the ability to assess their effectiveness of use and typical
opportunities that might exist.
This course will provide delegates with the skills to conduct energy audits in their
organisations, and assess these organisations against current best practice as enshrined in
ISO 50001; this course is ideal for but not limited to;
