ACCS CT2a---------------------------------------------------------Intensive Care Medicine
Anaesthesia
(6 months)
Initial Assessment of Competence
(IAC) consisting of 6 DOPS, 5 A-CEX ,
8 CBD in month 0-3.
8 Units of Training in Basis of
Anaesthetic Practice in month 3-6.

Minimum: 6 DOPS, 3 I-CEX, 4 CBD +/- ACAT
(see ACCS ARCP Record Book - ICM section)
You do NOT need to complete the ICM basic curriculum as
by successfully completing the first two years of ACCS
training, you will have automatically completed the RCOA
BASIC ICM Unit of Training.
+ MSF (mandatory during ICM)
ACCS CT2a ARCP
Completed WPBA as above for Anaesthesia/ICM.

Specific to anaesthesia: Initial Assessment of Competence of Obstetric
Anaesthesia (IACOA) and 15 Units of Training in Basic Anaesthesia.

BASIC LEVEL TRAINING CERTIFICATE IN ANAESTHESIA
