ACCS CT1 Register with your appropriate college for Core Training: Acute Medicine/Emergency Medicine/Anaesthesia Acute Medicine Emergency Medicine + (6 months) 5 DOPS, 3 Mini-CEX , 3 CBD, 3 ACAT (6 months) 5 DOPS, 4 Mini-CEX , 3 CBD, 1 ACAT + 1 MSF (in either rotation) Start work towards either Primary FRCA MRCP MCEM A ACCS CT1 ARCP Completed WPBA as above for Acute Medicine/Emergency Medicine. Use ACCS ARCP Record Book as guide. CV, Logbook, ESSRs from all rotations/placements. See ISA website ‘ACCS CT1 ARCP Checklist’ for more details. ACCS CT2a---------------------------------------------------------Intensive Care Medicine Anaesthesia (6 months) Initial Assessment of Competence (IAC) consisting of 6 DOPS, 5 A-CEX , 8 CBD in month 0-3. 8 Units of Training in Basis of Anaesthetic Practice in month 3-6. + (6 months) Minimum: 6 DOPS, 3 I-CEX, 4 CBD +/- ACAT (see ACCS ARCP Record Book - ICM section) You do NOT need to complete the ICM basic curriculum as by successfully completing the first two years of ACCS training, you will have automatically completed the RCOA BASIC ICM Unit of Training. + MSF (mandatory during ICM) ACCS CT2a ARCP Completed WPBA as above for Anaesthesia/ICM. CV, Logbook, ESSRs from all rotations/placements. See ISA website ARCP webpage ACCS CT2b ---------------------------------------------------------CORE SPECIALITY YEAR Complete either Primary FRCA MRCP (incl. PACES) MCEM B/C Anaesthesia (or Acute Medicine or Emergency Medicine) (12 months) Complete your speciality WPBAs: e.g. Basic Anaesthesia + 1 MSF ACCS CT2b ARCP Completed exam as required. Specific to anaesthesia: Initial Assessment of Competence of Obstetric Anaesthesia (IACOA) and 15 Units of Training in Basic Anaesthesia. CV, Logbook, ESSRs from all rotations/placements.
