Holmes promoted to president and COO of Swineford National Bank
(June 4, 2014) Middleburg, Pa - Gerry Nau, chairman and CEO of Swineford National Bank,
based in Middleburg, Pa., recently announced Bryan Holmes has been promoted to serve as
president and COO of the bank effective immediately. Holmes is also president and COO of
FNB Bank, based in Danville, Pa. Both banks are subsidiaries of Fulton Financial Corporation, a
Lancaster, Pa. based holding company.
Holmes joined FNB Bank as a branch manager in 1994, and has held various positions during
his career. In his new role, he will be responsible for overall operations at both banks.

Bank, Nau said. “He has had proven in his career at the bank to be a talented leader and to
have extensive knowledge and understanding of the financial markets we serve.”
Holmes is a graduate of the Pennsylvania College of Technology with an Associate of Applied
Science in advertising art and also the SUNY/Empire State College with a Bachelor of Art in
business management and economics. Holmes is also a graduate of the American Banker’s
Association’s Commercial Lending School of Banking and the American Institute of Banking. He
currently attends the Stonier Graduate School of Banking.
Active in the local community, Holmes serves as treasurer of the Montour County Housing
Authority and Danville Borough’s First-Time Buyer Board. He is also a board member of the
Montour Columbia Chamber of Commerce. This year he will serve as the Chairman for the
March of Dimes Walk for Babies in the Greater Susquehanna Valley. He recently sat on the
boards of the Good Samaritan Mission Center and the Danville Chapter of the American Red
Cross where he was past chairman.
