FREE Tai Chi These FREE tai chi sessions are open to; You are invited to join the FREE tai chi sessions running at Carers of people with a mental illness experience Arafmi as part of the COPMI Education and Awareness Strategy! Children of Parents with a Mental Illness (COPMI) who are over the age of 18 Parents with a mental illness Family, friends and others who are affected by parental Tai chi is a fun and relaxed active way to de-stress, improve fitness and meet other people. Tai chi has many recognized mental illness mental and physical health benefits including; improved blood pressure, balance, sleep, stress reduction, psychological functioning and recovery from physical illnesses including cancer, hear disease, Parkinson and strokes. You can come to as many or as few of these sessions as you like—its all up to you. Come along to these relaxed 1 hour tai chi sessions, have a laugh and give tai chi a go! Bonus: 20 fitness starter packs will be given away for FREE at these events! These packs contain; a fitness bag, water bottle, towel, lanyard and free gym trial. When and Where? WHEN: These tai chi workshops are running fortnightly every Wednesday as listed in the attached calendar.
