EV8000 EnVerv Reference Data Concentrator Based on EV8000 PLC Modem SoC Meter PLC Modem SoC Description The EnVerv reference data concentrator unit (DCU) is designed and developed by EnVerv’s development team for two specific reasons: System Block Diagram The DCU comprises a GRPS/EDGE module on the WAN side and a 3-Phase EnVerv PLC module on the LAN/UAN side with a 32-bit RISC microcontroller in charge of the control and applications layer software.
