The Webdyngate Coronis GPRS gateway (WGE-E-COR) includes a standard Coronis Wavecard and all of the
features of a Webdyn GPRS gateway. The Webdyn/Coronis gateway offers basic features allowing you to
collect data from Coronis sensors (meter, temperature, etc.) and change settings through a cell network.
THE PLATFORM
OPERATING PRINCIPLE
The WGE-G-COR hardware platform has an ultracompact card that integrates the GPRS and Wavenis
interfaces.
The WebdynRF gateway operates according to an
advanced data logging mode.
The Webdyngate gateway scans and collects data
related to each sensor using a configuration file that
describes the entire Wavenis mesh network. This
data is formatted (xml or cvs) and periodically sent
to a unified server through the GPRS network.
The Webdyngate GPRS Coronis solution is totally
Plug and Play. When first switched on, the gateway
connects to the IP network on a factory server and
downloads its entire configuration, which includes
the Wavenis network, data server address, data
format, collection intervals, etc.
Once the configuration is complete, data can be
automatically collected at periodic intervals.
This configuration and the gateway’s firmware can be
updated dynamically and remotely.
Two types of Wavecards can be integrated into the
Webdyngate gateways:
• Low-power 25mw Wavecard.
• High-power 500mw Wavecard.
