AP Classes:
The CAK Home Study program will accept AP credit from the following providers who have gone through
the College Board’s AP course audit process:
AIM Academy www.debrabell.com/online-classes Website states: “College prep classes for 7th-12th
aligned with college entrance and equivalency exams. Do you want to earn college credit for your high
school coursework? Then these classes are for you. Our full year, highly interactive college-prep classes
also help prepare you for AP®, CLEP®and SAT Subject tests.”
Blue Tent www.teacherweb.com/USA/BlueTent/Thompson/apt19.aspx – Offers both AP English
Language and Composition and AP English Literature and Composition classes.
The CAK day school www.cakwarriors.com – Classes are available to students enrolled in the CAK Home
Study program contingent upon availability and the payment of one-seventh (1/7) of one year’s tuition.
International Connections Academy http://www.internationalconnectionsacademy.com/privateschool/curriculum/high-school/honors-classes.aspx -- For both full-time and part-time students in
grades 9–12, International Connections Academy (iNaCA) offers more than 50 Honors and AP® classes
that accelerate learning and prepare students for the national AP tests for college credit. Students in
Honors and AP courses have required real-time contact with their teachers.
Northwestern University’s Gifted Learning Links http://www.ctd.northwestern.edu/gll/ – Website
states: “Eligible home schooled, elementary, middle or high school students can accelerate and broaden
their knowledge base any time and any place. GLL courses provide rigorous, individualized instruction
helping gifted students to achieve their educational goals.”
Patrick Henry College Preparatory Academy http://www.phcprep.org/ – Website states: “High-level
academic instruction prepares your student for AP* exams and fosters important college skills. At PHC
Prep Academy, our classes exceed the standard for college-prep courses. Each course meets the
College Board’s rigorous requirements for an official AP designation, fully preparing students for the
related AP exam. Each course is taught from a distinctively Christian perspective.”
Pennsylvania Homeschoolers www.aphomeschoolers.com – Website states: “All of our AP test
preparation classes are authorized through the College Board Audit process – our teachers each have
their syllabus approved by experienced course reviewers, meeting all College Board AP guidelines for
course coverage.”
The Potter’s School (TPS) www.pottersschool.org/credit-and-diploma – Website states: “All of our AP
courses consist of two live classes per week of instruction, with a teacher certified to teach that AP
course and also committed to bringing in the biblical worldview that the AP standard leaves out. The
teachers also help each student build a plan and get ready for the test. With TPS AP you can finally have
it all: courses that are AP certified, taught from a biblical worldview, with individual assistance and
feedback for your student's preparations.”

Offers AP classes using an online AP curriculum. One-on-one instruction as needed is offered at an
additional per-hour fee. Most classes can be taken in one semester. The brick-and-mortar offices are
located in Cookville and Crossville, TN.

Honors Classes: An Honors class is different from a regular level high school class in that it covers more
material at a faster pace with higher level critical thinking engagement in the discussion questions and
written responses.
As of the 2014-15 academic year, the CAK Home Study program will accept Honors credit from the
following providers:
Local Co-operative classes – Please submit an official statement from the honors class teacher stating
that the class has honors level standards.
Parent-taught classes—Please submit a class syllabus outline with texts and resources used, as well as a
course descripton with an official statement validating that the class has honors level standards.

and 9th grades) and Honors English 2 (9th and 10th grades).
