Judy Burns Memorial Award
Kayla DeGuzman
For over thirty years, Mrs. Judith Burns
taught Language Arts at PRMS. Mrs.
Burns had the unique ability to convey
her excellent command of both the
spoken and written word to her
students. Taking care to view each of
them as communicators, she encouraged
them to fully use both their imaginations
and intellects. In her memory, we honor
Mrs. Burns’ exceptional gifts by annually
presenting the Creative Writing Award in
her name.
