Dr. J. Joseph Francis, Assistant Professor,
specializes in Operations. He has done his B.E. in
Electrical and Electronics Engineering from
Government College of Technology, Coimbatore
and his M.B.A. from Pondicherry University. He
obtained his Ph.D in Management Sciences from
Anna University, Chennai. He has over 10 years
of Industry experience and 6 years of teaching experience. Dr. J Joseph Francis’s industry
experience includes Distribution Management, Project management, and Channel Management.
His area of interest in teaching are Statistics, Operations Research, Operations Management,
and Manufacturing Planning and Control. His area of interest in research are in Mathematical
modeling of managerial problems, Production Planning, New product development and Quality
systems for delivering financial services. Dr. J Joseph Francis has also passed a module on the
Basics of supply chain management of the prestigious CPIM certification of APICS (American
Production and Inventory Control Society). He is also a resource person for training students in
Project Management according to the requirements of the Project Management Institute (PMI) of
USA. He has also been trained by SAP AG to be a trainer for their ERP modules for students.
