Prepares a monthly cash flow summary of the DWS country programs for the LWF Office for Finance. Reviews the current account reconciliations, received from the DWS country programs and prepares the journal entries where necessary. Controls funding transfers to DWS programs by ensuring that sufficient funds are available in the country current accounts and that funding requests are supported by cash flow statements. Controls the frequency of financial reports from country offices by tracking the receipt of electronic and hard copies of financial and narrative reports. Compiles consolidation of transactions and provide support for the global statutory audit in preparing lead schedule of debtors, grants receivables and carrying out other audit preparation responsibilities assigned by the Global Finance Coordinator. Compiles the spread sheets for the assurances, pledges, and income received from all sources in collaboration with the Deputy Finance Coordinators. Special duties they have been approved by the Global Finance Coordinator. Ensures that the DWS archive is properly maintained with regards to monthly financial report and annuals audited statements. Identifies and codes all DWS income to the respective SAGE codes and issues receipts for all income to the respective donors. Prepares payment vouchers for DWS transfers (country programs and Geneva), and other creditors; obtains authorization and forwards to the Office for Finance for payment. Maintains the DWS Petty Cash and reconciles with documents. Prepares, as requested, letters, reports and other documents for team members maintains computer-based mailing and meeting lists. Records, compiles information and organizes the files for staff in the finance unit; prepares material for archiving. Organizes and coordinates finance meeting arrangements including logistical aspects of meetings, conferences, workshops (such as accommodation, meals, travel, secretarial support etc.) as directed by the supervisor.
